Where can I view my points balance? 
If you have raised at least $100, you will see your available points balance in the Reward Center header (near the "How It Works" button on the upper right of the page) or on your Account page. Please allow up to two hours for your points totals to "catch up" to your fundraising totals. If you have not yet raised at least $100, keep at it! You'll have an available balance in no time!

 

How do the points work? 
You earn points by fundraising. For each new achievement level you reach, you will receive an additional 100 points. There are six levels to reach in order to accrue all 600 possible points for your Heart Walk. After redeeming your points, your balance will be adjusted accordingly. Points are cumulative and max at 600 points. See more on the How It Works Page

 

When can I order my items? 
You can order your items from the time the Rewards Center is open in your Heart Walk Headquarters until 6 weeks past your Heart Walk event date.

 

Do I have to redeem all my points at once? 
No, you can redeem your points from the moment you start earning them while continuing to fundraise. The points will be available up until 6 weeks after your event. After you redeem points your balance will be adjusted accordingly.

 

I earned 600 points and redeemed all of them. Am I able earn more points? 
Wow! We are so lucky to have you as a Heart Walk Champion because the funds you raise will help save lives. At this time, once you reach our sixth achievement level, you have earned 600 points which is the maximum number of points available. The Heart Walk Rewards Center is only one of the ways we thank you for all that you do for the American Heart Association.

 

Will I receive an order confirmation? 
Yes, an order confirmation will be emailed to you as soon as you check out of the HW Reward Center. We will use the email address you indicated in the “ship to email” field at checkout.

 

When can I expect my order to be delivered? 
Your order will be processed and shipped within 2 business days unless otherwise noted. Please allow up to 12 days for your product to arrive. Our standard business hours are Monday-Friday 9:00 AM 5:00 PM CST, except on major National holidays or during significant weather events.

 

Will I get a shipping notification when my order ships? 
Yes, when your order is getting ready to leave the warehouse, you will receive an emailed shipment confirmation with your tracking number(s). We will use the email address you indicated in the “ship to email” field at checkout.

 

I have a question about the Reward Center, the order I placed, or my points balance, who should I contact? 
Please complete this form and our team will reach out to you within 3 business days. Our standard business hours are Monday-Friday 9:00 AM 5:00 PM CST, except on major National holidays or during significant weather events.

 

Can I return or exchange my item? 
Yes. If the product you received is damaged/defective, or the product you received is not what you ordered, please complete this form and one of our team members will reach out to you to facilitate your request. If you need to exchange your product for a different size, please reach out to your local Heart Walk representative and they will get you the correct size Hero Gear.

 

I don’t want to use my points but would rather donate the cost of the item back to the AmericanHeart Association. Can I do that? 
Of course! If you’d like to decline your prize redemption, no action is required on your part. If you do not redeem your points, the cost of the reward(s) you could have redeemed will not be charged to the American Heart Association and go to support the mission.

 

Do my points expire? 
Yes, points expire 6 weeks after your Heart Walk event date. No costs are incurred for expired points.

 

I have a question about my Heart Walk event, but it is not related to the Reward Center products, reward orders, or my points balance. Who do I ask? 
Please reach out to your local American Heart Association/Heart Walk Representative. Contact information can be found on your Heart Walk landing page. Go to www.heartwalk.org and enter your zip code to find your local Heart Walk website.

 

Can I donate the points I have earned to another walker? 
Well, aren’t you generous! :-) We appreciate the thought, but points are not transferable. Each walker earns their own rewards.

 

 

 

If you would prefer to decline prize redemption, no action is required on your part and there will be no cost to the American Heart Association.
